View of the kitchen looking towards the dining room. Globe ceiling light is original to the house. Countertops are Caeserstone "Lagos Blue". The wenge wood shelf above the stove serves to conceal three "pot" lights that illuminate the countertop. Electrical outlets are deliberately placed well above counter level so they are less obvious. Miele oven and oven/microwave, with SubZero 650 over/under refrigerator concealed by matching paneling.

Counters are 32" deep, providing for an exceptional amount of undercounter storage in a relatively small kitchen. The extra depth also makes for more useful workspace on the counters, and allows for a slide-out spice rack behind the ovens (photo below). A Gaggenau VL 051 telescoping stove vent is concealed between the two 12" Diva Induction cooktops (photo at bottom of page).
