The House | 2006 Interior Remodel

Demolition is always an exciting part of the remodeling process because it goes so quickly, and the change is so radical. However, this is illusory: it is always easier to take things apart then it is to put them back together, and home remodeling is no exception.

These photos show the new living room space cleared away (scroll down to see the second image) from both angles: looking toward the master bedroom (top, with Rosemary confering with the electrican) and toward the new kitchen (bottom). The electrical conduit sticking up out of the slab will be removed. The partial height wall with the black sink vent pipe going up to the ceiling will be retained.
